A large part of any cosmetics and brows business is wedding consultations and day-of makeup for brides and their bridal parties. But for me, creating magical wedding looks and shaping the brows of brides-to-be is one of my very favorite parts of my job. I was thrilled to recently be at the Millennium Hotel and the State Room Boston for the gorgeous wedding of Sarah and Mark. Sarah and Mark mixed black and white with purple for a spring wedding full of flair and style.
I created the perfect wedding look for Sarah and her bridal party at the Millennium Hotel at the start of the day so that her soon-to-be groom Mark would be blown away as soon as he saw her. With the big reveal out of the way, the entire wedding party gathered to take formal shots at the hotel and in Faneuil Hall before transitioning to the State Room.
Sarah and Mark’s wedding ceremony took place high above downtown Boston in the State Room’s Great Room, which overlooks the beautiful Boston waterfront and city below. The hallway leading into the Great Room was customized with a gallery of personal images of the couple and their family for guests to enjoy as they walked into the ceremony. Floral arrangements of purple and white orchids flanked either side of the altar in a beautiful spring display.
I love working with all my brides, but Sarah was especially great to work with. Thanks so much for including me in your special day, Sarah. You looked so beautiful! And a big thank you to Person + Killian Photography, who captured the big day in photos. If you have a wedding coming up, feel free to reach out to inquire about your makeup or your bridal party’s looks.
